A Strong Advocate of Pain Control for Her Patients

Prior to joining the emergency and critical care team and the Fox Valley Animal Referral Center and the Green Bay Animal Emergency Center, Dr. Ruth Peters worked for ten years in general practice with an emphasis on preventative medicine and client education.

Dr. Peters developed progressive integrated pain control and senior wellness programs and continues to have a strong focus on pain control for her emergency patients.

Dr. Peters enjoys combining her prior experience in preventative medicine and the unpredictability and variety of emergency and critical care medicine. She also appreciates the collaboration she experiences with her colleagues; the other emergency doctors and the board certified specialists at the referral center. She believes that the team approach to patient care is always a benefit to her patients.

Dr. Peters is active in theater and enjoys pottery, sewing and outdoor activities with her husband and two children. The Peters have two cats and a Jack Russell named "Terror".
